Jasons Stocking...

So I finished Jason's stocking! 2 down 2 to go! I had an even more difficult time with the heel on this one than the first one. Bummer. I thought I would be getting better, not worse. That being said it still came out pretty darn good! I wish the instructions were more clear about how to pick up stitches for the heel. That would make everything so much easier! I can pick up the stitches on the top with no issues at all, its the bottom loops that are causing all the headaches. Maybe Jasper's stocking will go better. Third times the charm!

Christmas Stocking Project

So now that I finally have my Fair Isle chops I have started my Christmas stockings!! I did mine first so that if I completely blew it then I wouldn't feel bad about it. So far I am really happy with how it has turned out. I am not 100% sure about the i-chord I did for the hanging of the stocking, and the heel has some mistakes that I had to go back and correct but all in all...not bad. Thank goodness for Fair Isle, because if it wasn't then the mistakes would probably be much more noticeable!! I have started working on Jasons next. 3 more to go with 3 & 1/2 months till Christmas...I think I can make it!
